FRENCH 8
Tuesday January 4-Friday January 7th
Here we are! Remote learning again.
Please note:
- we have moved to Remote Learning because of so many absences, both by students and staff (it became an operational problem), not because school was assessed as being unsafe
- this is TEMPORARY: we hope to be back at exams next week, and back to regular classes as planned the following week
Because of the difficulty with verbal exams, I am giving students the option of either accepting their grade without an exam, or organizing a time to come in and do one during exam week Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday.
- I will do my best to send out progress reports to your adults-at-home by Friday
- I will accept assignments from before Christmas break until next Thursday (Jan 13th)
- You're welcome to email me at alex.morrison-rusas@yesnet.yk.ca or call me at school at 667-8044
- If you'd like to come into class during regular school hours, email me the day before and I'll make sure to be here!
I'm sad that we couldn't conclude our amazing French 8 semester together. Big high fives all around; you have been an absolutely amazing group; it's been a really meaningful experience to see how much French you now all speak. I hope to see you all in French 9!
DON'T FORGET to apply to the EXPLORE program (deadline Feb)! Seriously! SUPER cheap travel, you'll come back bilingual, you can skip a grade in French and it will be a great adventure! I can help you with your application if you like
